Felpham Summer Party

The Felpham Village Summer Party.  Saturday 9th July from 12pm - 6pm in Old Rectory Gardens

The huge success of last year’s fete inspired us to provide another event for the village; a Summer Party. Held once again in our fabulous Old Rectory Gardens, the party was fun for the whole family. It included an afternoon of wonderful music from local artists, a Children’s Teddy Bears' Parade, traditional family games and refreshments. Raffle and tombola with prizes from local businesses completed the fun and festivities.

Bob May of May's The Village Agents compered the afternoon with running commentary on all activities, introductions to the music and generally making fun and mischief in his usual cheery fashion.

Thank you to all who contributed - stall helpers, musicians, and all our local sponsors - Abacus, Bay Tree Estates, Felpham Dental Surgery, Helen Gagan Solicitor, Mitsuyo, The Body Clinic, King and Chasemore, Bondwood, Milestones, The Fox Inn, Gattrells, Gilbert and Cleveland.   Not forgetting Bognor Rotary Club for running the barbecue.

Comments listed in chronological order during the afternoon:

“A wonderful way to spend an afternoon - good entertainment, brilliant atmosphere, would have been better if the weather had also joined us. Could do with some more litter bins in the park, though”.
