The History, Heritage and Archive Group first met in March 2015 with the aim of researching Felpham history by gathering historical items such as maps, postcards, photographs etc., relating to the parish.  The first project that the Group carried out, in 2016, was to establish the history of the 80 or so businesses within the parish, to photograph them all and by doing so be able to set up and maintain a Living History of the parish.

The second project was done in 2018 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Armistice of the First World War.

The Group will be introducing the Felpham Blue Plaques and their history in the coming months.
