FVCS History Group is putting on an event to commemorate and celebrate the VE Day 80th Anniversary.   It starts at 3 pm with a welcome and official opening by the Mayor of Bognor Regis.  The celebrations kick off with the RAFA Choir – followed at 4.05 by the Felpham Community College Choir, at 4.55 by cellist Roger Spinner, Elizabeth Godfrey and the St Mary’s Church Choir.  5.40 - Chichester Lindy Hop dance group, and at 6.30 Bognor Regis Concert Band.   The event will finish at 7.30 pm with the unveiling of a Blue Plaque presented by Felpham Parish Council in association with FVCS in memory of the Felpham residents who played their part in the liberation of Europe.   Refreshments throughout the afternoon.  Our kind sponsors include Mays The VIllage Agent, Bay Tree Estate Agents, Milestones Garage and The Fox Inn.
