The Allotments and Hanging Baskets Group meet at St Michael's Allotments, Felpham Way opposite the New University car park. Every Tuesday at 10 am.  We have a Society plot and an orchard where we grow and share veg and fruit. We also have a plant nursery area where we grow plants for the plant sales and fete as well as grow-on and put together all the village hanging baskets for the summer.   Our Society storage shed is located next to our plot. We have restored an old beach hut that we use for extra storage and as a focal point for the allotments as a whole. So there are a whole mix of things and jobs to be done winter and summer.  Plenty of produce to take home at harvest time! We are a small group of about a half dozen men and women.  As a community role, we also organise the allotment's work parties and assist other plotholders when they are struggling. Members are welcome to join the regular group or just drop in.
